Gullible people exploited by moon landing
On the 4th March 1971 the following newspaper article was published in the Netherlands. It describes how more that 90,000 people had already bought a ticket that would fly them to the moon.
In view of the astronomical number of 90,000 bookings for commercial interplanetary flights, the American airline Pan American has decided not to register any more candidates. The first candidate for a lunar voyage registered in 1964. By 1968 the number of registrations had risen to 5,000 and since then the waiting list has quickly become longer.
In 1969 ABC News promotes the tickets that were sold for U$28,000 a person.
